April in Phoenix brings the blooming of desert wildflowers, such as poppies, lupines, and brittle-bush, adding vibrant colors to our desert landscape. It's a fun time to explore the numerous hiking trails, such as Camelback Mountain and Piestewa Peak, before the summer heat becomes too intense.

In addition, April hosts a plethora of cultural events and festivals, highlighting Phoenix's diverse heritage. From the Phoenix Pride Festival celebrating LGBTQ+ pride to the Phoenix Film Festival screening independent films worldwide. Plus, sports enthusiasts can catch the excitement as the Arizona D-backs begin their season at Chase Field!

As April showers bring additional May flowers, just like a Good Neighbor, the Mat Herseth State Farm team is here when unexpected and unforeseen life events happen. We're continuously partnering to provide insurance guidance and support for unplanned life events, as we offer insurance options that fit our customers' lives and budgets.

Born and raised in Phoenix, plus graduated from the University of Arizona, I am a true Arizona native!

A gear-head with an appreciation for classic cars and awe of the continuing enhancements of modern-day vehicles, I am a State Farm Agent with 15+ years of insurance and business experience. The Mat Herseth State Farm Agency is made up of a genuine and resourceful team, which includes Gus, my Yellow Labrador Retriever.

My family-minded disposition drives my good-old-fashioned values. Therefore, it is the support and admiration from my wife of 10+ years, the fondness of the great outdoors, and testaments of enduring customer relationships which keeps me grounded, thankful, and progressively moving forward!

My professional career includes 15+ years in the Insurance industry with an emphasis on auto, property, casualty, life, and health insurance. I have been part of the Mat Herseth State Farm Agency team since 2011 and enjoy providing insurance guidance and support to our customers. I can attest that Mat truly cares about people and his quick-witted sense of humor keeps me and our customers continuously laughing.

Outside of the office, I'm kayaking, hiking, fostering dogs, and always enjoying time with my family. I am proud to share that I have fostered 14+ dogs and partner with a local non-profit animal shelter (even made a few State Farm customers-pet adoption connections during my tenure)!
