My professional career includes 15+ years in the Insurance industry with an emphasis on auto, property, casualty, life, and health insurance. I have been part of the Mat Herseth State Farm Agency team since 2011 and enjoy providing insurance guidance and support to our customers. I can attest that Mat truly cares about people and his quick-witted sense of humor keeps me and our customers continuously laughing.
Outside of the office, I'm kayaking, hiking, fostering dogs, and always enjoying time with my family. I am proud to share that I have fostered 14+ dogs and partner with a local non-profit animal shelter (even made a few State Farm customers-pet adoption connections during my tenure)!

Samuel Louis
With over 20 years of experience in disability and life insurance, and a background in auto insurance and financial management, I have built a career of helping people make informed decisions to protect their families, finances, and the road ahead. I’m a numbers guy, and I believe that dollars and sense truly go hand in hand.
Originally from the Midwest, I have called Arizona home for many years. It’s where I raised my family, built lasting friendships, and appreciate the relaxed lifestyle and strong sense of community. When I’m not working, I enjoy watching and playing sports, especially basketball, admiring vintage sports cars, and have a fondness for horses.
I joined the Mat Herseth State Farm team because the team’s values align with my own: a genuine commitment to helping people and building meaningful relationships. I look forward to helping the families we support and navigate insurance needs with a down-to-earth approach, confidence, and a bit of good storytelling along the way.

I’m a Colorado native with a degree in Business Administration who is proud to call Arizona home. With more than five years of frontline experience that includes working directly with individuals and families advising on State Farm products and services, I have developed a strong passion for helping people protect what matters most to them.
My hands-on business development experience has given me a “boots on the ground” perspective and therefore, I’m excited to be part of the Mat Herseth State Farm Team, where I can continue building a career centered around educating customers about insurance, solving problems, and helping individuals and families feel confident in their coverage and financial protection.
I’m also grateful to work alongside a team that truly cares, values professionalism, and creates a welcoming environment for both customers and one another.
Outside of the office, I’m an avid sports fan and enjoy football, basketball, and golf. You’ll often find me on the golf course, at the gym, or spending time with friends and family while enjoying and exploring everything our 48th while state has to offer.
